University of British Columbia Press

Established in 1971, UBC Press is among the largest university presses in Canada, producing 60 new books annually and keeping a backlist of 900 titles. It publishes widely in political science, Canadian history, military history, Native studies, and Asian studies.

We have a long association with UBC Press, editing, designing, and managing projects. Over the past fifteen years, the Press has doubled its output without a parallel increase in staff by outsourcing its design and editing. We’ve designed book covers, catalogues, and bookmarks; edited history, archaeology, and art books; written editorial assessments and promotional copy; and managed a host of projects with complex requirements.

We work as an independent and creative resource to solve workflow issues.
